This newcomer in Fermentis portfolio is recommended to create high gravity beers, often called « big beers »: bold, flavorful and powerful.

It is the obvious choice for fermentation of beers such as Barley Wines, Imperial Porter or Stout, Scotch Ale, Imperial IPA…
Its main qualities? SafAle™ HA-18 is able to reach 18% v/v, depending on the process and the substrate with a very good resistance to the osmotic pressure and high fermentation temperatures (thermo tolerant yeast).
You can use it by direct inoculation or with prior rehydration.
