Fermentis’ new packaging line at Algist Bruggeman
Thanks to our state-of-the-art dry-phase production and packaging facilities at Algist Bruggeman in Ghent, Belgium, we are now achieving better quality control, packaging standards, and product traceability, while also improving the microbiological quality of our brewing yeast.

Ready to pitch your yeast? Our patented Easy-To-Open technology incorporates Percy™ device for craft brewers. This tool is designed to ensure a more sterile environment when pitching yeast. With less risks of cross-contamination, brewers can craft their favorite beer, time and time again.

Thanks to state-of-the-art dry-phase production and packaging lines at Algist Bruggeman, our major factory in Ghent, Belgium, we are now achieving improved quality control, packaging standards, and product traceability, all while raising the microbiological quality of our brewing yeast. Our new-look packaging is currently being rolled out worldwide. Given that not all our beer yeast strains are produced and packaged at Algist Bruggeman, customers can still expect to see our previous design for certain products.
Over the past year, there have been some big achievements at Fermentis in terms of quality. Thanks to significant upgrades at one of our major factories, the microbiological quality of our active dry beer yeast has reached a new industry standard.
