NABLAB yeast SafBrew ™LA-01Last month, we packed our bags and headed to Nuremberg, Germany, to participate in BrauBeviale. One of the biggest events in our calendar, this three-day exhibition is the largest beer tradeshow in Europe. With more than 30 000 visitors in attendance, it was another incredible week!
This year, our stand was kitted out to showcase our exciting new products and services, including our complete solutions for lager beers, wheat beers, souring solutions, hop forward strains and our NABLAB yeast SafBrew ™LA-01.
Our giant iPhone also made a return,so guests could browse our updated app (available on iOS and Android) and handy tools.
There were also plenty of valuable presentations from our experts, who were on hand to meet guests, answer questions and provide tips and recommendations about our yeast, bacteria and derivatives.
Gilles Goemare (Technical Sales Support Manager) opened the show with a presentation on NABLAB beers. The following day Philippe Janssens (Technical Manager) presented on lager solutions, and Simon Jeanpierre (Tech-Co Fermentis APAC Manager) wrapped it up on Thursday, speaking about our latest mixes for sour beers.
Visitors to our stand also had the opportunity to try a drink from our tasting bar. This year, we had a wide variety on offer including beers brewed at our very own Fermentis Campus pilot brewery, as well as some world-renowned commercial examples and some exciting collab beers, like our recent co-brew with Rouget de Lisle – that you may have seen on our social media.
Gabriela Montandon, our Sensory Analysis Technical Manager, led tasting sessions each afternoon. Each session was related to the morning’s presentation, so guests at our stand had the opportunity to learn the theory and then discover the results hands on.
We also hosted our famous stand parties on Tuesday and Wednesday night. These soirees are the perfect opportunity for brewers and distributors to enjoy a drink and discuss the latest news and trends in the beer world with our team and other industry professionals.
