We love talking about the benefits of our E2U™ range, but nothing makes us happier than hearing testimonials from wine producers who use these innovative products to help achieve their goals.
We spoke with Sándor Salánki from Domaine Feind, in the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region of Hungary. Sándor tells us about his experiences and why E2U™ is so important for winemakers everywhere.
Tell us a little about yourself and Domaine Feind.
” I started working as an oenologist in 1998, more than 25 years ago. I currently work for Domaine Feind, renowned for its fresh, fruity and refreshing white wines and its aromatic rosés. We also produce still wines fermented, aged and/or refined in wood.
Most of the wines we produce are consumed locally and we are very proud to have increased our sales in a declining national market. Our next step is to develop our exports. Firstly we have chosen to target Northern and Central Europe, the United States and Canada.
What are your main challenges ?
We are fortunate to be faced with exciting challenges. We are increasing our production capacity to meet ever-growing demand, thanks to the hard work of our sales team. New plantations are providing us with more and more grapes. Our goal is to improve our production efficiency wherever possible.
Our main objective is to optimise grape processing, juice handling, and fermentation technology. We must become increasingly flexible and adapt to the significant fluctuations in vintages caused by climate change.
How does the E2U™ range help you achieve your goals ?
The Fermentis E2U™ range consists of reliable products, accompanied by detailed information on aromatic profiles and protocols for use. We know what to expect and can rely on them to achieve the desired results.
During the harvest, we are always looking for ways to save time and conserve our resources. E2U™ products offer solutions for rapid and reliable yeast inoculation, well-balanced nutrition management, and targeted enhancement of the sensory profile. The perfect example is ViniLiquid™, which is easy to dose and disperse in the must. Its use always gives us a good profile of clean aromas and enhances the aromatic notes of our wines. “
