This April, Fermentis had the pleasure of hosting the 2026 France Bière Challenge – an event that shines a spotlight on the innovation and variety of French craft brewing.
Over two days, expert judges sampled a wide range of beers, evaluating each entry for quality, creativity, and the craftsmanship that defines the brewing industry.
Following the competition, judges toured the Fermentis Academy pilot brewery and laboratories – a state-of-the-art hub for applied science, research, and brewing innovation.
The France Bière Challenge is more than a competition. It’s a celebration of the incredible range of beers brewed in France, and a platform that uplifts our brewing culture for both experienced professionals and passionate newcomers.
Inspired by the Brussels Beer Challenge, this event was created to give French brewers their own independent stage – one where innovation and tradition come together in every glass.
